Located at the foot of the Preber, the Krakau Valley offers relaxed cross-country skiing with a breathtaking backdrop. At 1,500 meters above sea level, cross-country skiing fans will get their money's worth in the Murau/Krakow region. Enjoy the fresh air and a wonderful view of the Prebersee high-altitude trail. The trail is approx. 9 km long and leads through snow-covered alpine pastures and meadows. Cross-country skiing courses are offered by the Kraków ski school.

Der Ulrichsonntag mit den Prangschützen und der Oswaldisonntag mit der ca. 8 m hohen und 70 kg schweren Figur namens Samson, sind immer ein Besuch wert.

You can have a lot of fun on an evening torchlight hike led by the manager of the house, followed by a warming schnapps break and a glass of mulled cider. Leisurely winter hikes and walks in the best, clean air are particularly popular with our seniors.
TOBOGGANING
Natural tobogganing on the Prebersee
The Prebersee natural toboggan run is located in Preber near Tamsweg in Lungau. The promising toboggan run starts at Prebersee and is a wonderful winter hike up to the Halterhütte. Also ideal for children and families! The toboggan run is regularly groomed and is signposted.
